This is the beginning of the story of a 1984 Irwin 41' ketch that my wife and I plan to sail the seven seas. Of course, we're starting out small and doing a bit of coastal cruising and island hopping first.

Wind Angel was purchased in April, 2001 from Jack Slocum and his wife. She spent most of her previous life in Lake Michigan under the name of "Jack's or better".

She was named "Jack's or better" before as you can see from some of these shots. Click on one of the thumbnail images to enlarge the picture.

The cruise is over. I have retired from cruising. At least on my own boat. The Wind Angel is now someone else's responsibilty. Thanks for all the fish.
